New UK Passports
From 8 March 2010, passports for British Nationals will no longer be processed in Bangkok. They will be processed and printed centrally in a Regional Passport Processing Centre. Further details will be published soon.
Until that date, you can continue to submit your passport applications here in British Embassy Bangkok. We will update this website with further instructions from that date.

- Consular Section: Due to the upgrading of our computer systems the Consular Section regrets that it will be unable to deal with applications for passports and other documentarial services on Monday 8 February and Tuesday 9 February. The Consular Section will remain open to the public, but will only be able to offer a limited assistance service to British Nationals on these two days. We expect normal service to be resumed on Wednesday 10 February.
- Visa Services: Due to upgrading of our computer systems, the UK Border Agency Visa Services at the British Embassy Bangkok regrets that it will be unable to deal with visa applications, interviews and appeal cases on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 February. The UKBA Visa Services will close to the public, however the UK Visa Application Centre will remain open. Please take this into consideration when applying for a visa. We expect normal service to be resumed at the Embassy on Wednesday 10 February
